  • Bios

    Mikko Uusitalo is Head of Research Department Radio Systems Research Finland at Nokia Bell Labs. Mikko is leading the European 6G Flagship projects Hexa-X and Hexa-X-II. He obtained a M.Sc. (Eng.) and Dr.Tech. in 1993 and 1997 and a B.Sc. (Economics) in 2003, all from predecessors of Aalto University. Mikko has been at Nokia since 2000 with various roles, including Principal Researcher and Head of International Cooperation at Nokia Research. Mikko is a founding member of the CELTIC EUREKA and WWRF, the latter one he chaired for 2004-2006. Mikko is a WWRF Fellow.







    Abhijit Navalekar is a Principal Engineer at Qualcomm. He received his MS ('05) and PhD ('09) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is currently working on design and implementation of Modem Technology for Snapdragon chipsets and FSM 5G RAN platforms. His research interest includes ORAN, Private Networks, C-V2X Vehicular networks, and application of AI in wireless.







    Subhramoy Mohanti is currently working as a Research Scientist at InterDigital in Los Altos, California, where he develops next generation communication technologies through over-the-air experiments and systems-level testbed implementation. He received the Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University in 2022. His research interests include wireless systems, machine learning enabled communication, wireless protocols, and networked robotics. Dr. Mohanti received the Best Paper Award at IEEE INFOCOM in 2018. He was also a recipient of the Northeastern University Graduate Dissertation Research Grant in 2015 for pursuing system level research during his graduate studies at Northeastern University.






    Onur Altintas is the InfoTech Labs Fellow and a Senior Executive at InfoTech Labs, Toyota North America R&D, in Mountain View, California. He has been with the Toyota Group since 1999 in various roles in New Jersey, Tokyo, and California. He is the co-founder and has been the general co-chair of the IEEE Vehicular Networking Conference (IEEE VNC) since 2009. He serves as an associate editor for IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine, IEEE ITS Magazine and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles. He holds a Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo, and M.S. and B.S. from ODTÜ in Ankara, Türkiye, all in EE. He is an IEEE VTS Distinguished Speaker.
